PostHero Online?

i heard Hero Online is a nice game ... but i can't find any real "reviews" of it ... and with time i've grown to consider whatever the official site says as rubbish ....

look around mates if you find a review for it ... (good or bad) ... lemme know ..

I played it. Nothing special, have a lvl 50ish (still pretty low) warrior and a few low level hunters/assasins... the graphics is crap compared to either PW or 9dragons, gameplay is also kinda cranky as leveling is based on pot-spamming hp/mp and doing AOE ... the trick is, the exp is bad, the drop is so bad that pot spamming will get you broke very fast at higher levels... but hey, its been years since i played it... maybe they patched it... features also - pets - everyone can have them, they are combat pets, leveling them from lowbie doesnt make them better over a pet that you can use at a higher level so that aspect is kinda crappy until you really make the pets high level, then they just look cool :P
- mounted combat - no skills or AOE in this mode, so its basically for 1vs1 characters who have a high dmg+acc/low hp or polearm toons who have a fan-like AOE from the get-go... things you would like would be... hmm... crafting sucks with fail % , pet leveling is pain in the ass as they get exp for landed hits based on their level and the level of the mob they are attacking so speed-leveling a pet is a big no-no... also, mounts level with you the problem is they are suxors at base levels so you'll pot-spamm pet food instead of hp/mp but it amounts to same things... pvp is zone-based and i havent got high enough to be forced to move to a pvp zone to level and when i was playing it was pretty impossible too as few people declared the zone "theirs" and they pked the server, cause killing a player gives you a small amount of exp, so i guess with the rapid decline in exp rates pvp becomes a viable leveling option fast... havent tried... also... mining is basically standing in one spot spamming skill and cant be done afk as far as i know:)

all this is a memory based review and if it still sounds interesting i suggest you try it for yourself, starting levels are still a bit of fun, but the grind is there from the start...

hehe, i changed from a 15inch to 22inch back in dec... somehow, i still play 9d in the same windowed size... i tend to feel uneasy when i play in big resolution.... like its taking up too much of my cpu and graphics resources, overheating, etc...
with 22inch, i prefer to open more browsers and chats together with the game window and multitask:) hehe
